The Lavender Files, part 7
Practice. Subversive power of creativity. Helpful minerals. A closing message.
Today brings the installment of The Lavender Files transmission, which—if you missed it—started with the Preface and began in earnest in Part 1.
We have been offering practices for emotional release, alignment and so on. Merely reading about these methods is meaningless if one does not actually engage them in earnest. Here we must be firm and say: read no further until you have tested these methods out for yourself. [For example, see part 1 for a practice for releasing fear.]
Our scribe (Djed) has paused just now to engage the alignment method / tree practice for a moment [part 6] and to offer a prayer to transmit something of lasting value. This strengthens his connection with us and our ability to speak through him. And so, on we go.
It has been said by one of your poets[1] that the only war is the war against the imagination. Creativity is the most subversive force in your world. One of the most revolutionary acts is dreaming something new into being. Protesting and fighting injustice have their place, but they are meaningless unless something new and different can unfold.
We ask you to make space for dreaming and imagining. Dare to consider strange new possibilities. To create worlds. To express the possible futures that stir within you—through the written word, through song and story, through image, however you are moved. Only let yourself be moved—this is a choice. Drop the dead weight of cynicism and despair; and dare to imagine a different world. “The stronger the imagination, the less imaginary the results.”[2]
Creativity is the most precious resource of all.
In a time of gathering gloom, know that we are beaming hope and possibility to you. You, too, are children of the stars, though you have forgotten. You, too, are holy beings bearing the spark of divinity.
In a time when much of the established order is breaking, dare to look for answers within your own unplumbed depths. Dare to entertain possibilities that seem outlandish, impossible: for who would believe the tunneling mole if he dreamt of winged life above the clouds?
We don’t ask for your belief but for your consideration. Uncomfortable as it may be, we ask you to open an uncertain space within which to entertain what we are saying. Live with the possibility, just the chance, however remote it may seem, that your most probing history books hardly scratch the surface of the story of life on this planet—and indeed beyond, for this planet has never been alone any more than you are alone now.
Is it strange to hear from an alien race that you are loved? Perhaps it seems condescending, patronizing. But no. We love you not at a distance, for we are with you, even now. We see what you see, feel what you feel. Nowhere else—perhaps nowhere else in the universe is so charged with emotion; nowhere is life so intensely rich, painful, tragic and beautiful at once. Earth has become known as a PhD level school for souls who long for a challenge. When we say we love you, please know it comes from a place of respect born of intimate knowing. In honor of your courage, we offer a violet heart [like a purple heart military decoration] and pin it on your breast.
If you wish to be closer to us, keep an eye out for this color. In particular, violet stones and crystals can serve as amplifiers, receivers for our frequency. Grape agate and the South African amethyst known as Spirit Quartz most especially.
Regarding crystals: how can we understand their genuine utility while separating out baseless claims?
It is an interesting topic and quite an important one. Many are indeed drawn to the mineral kingdom instinctively, for there is power there. Many, too, have vague inklings from long-buried ancestral memories about the potential uses of crystals, in particular. In prior ages of Earth, as in Atlantis, crystals were more fully utilized in their capacity as transducers able to interface between mind and matter. Most of that specific technology has been lost (though quartz still figures in your electronics).
As for baseless claims, it is as well not to believe everything you read, especially from those with something to sell. But we advise not throwing out the baby with the bathwater. Stones, especially crystals and most especially gemstones, do indeed have power, for good or for ill. There are many factors to consider. Compatibility or suitability is one: what’s beneficial for one person can be harmful to another, as with particular foods or drugs.
Our scribe has knowledge of the Vedic way of working with gemstones in connection with the nine planets. In that tradition—which is deeply rooted in wisdom—blue sapphire (to take an example) serves to amplify the influence of Saturn. For some this can bring empowerment, discipline, sobriety and, eventually, authority. For others an outsize Saturnian influence may bring only sorrow, pain and ruin. Many people are adversely affected by their own choice of jewelry, and it never occurs to them what may be the culprit.
Many of you have seen the film Titanic. A large blue stone figures into the plot of that story. We tell you that such stones have been implicated in calamitous events of that magnitude more than once in history. The legends of large, coveted gems that bring misfortune to successive owners over centuries are not all tall tales. The mechanism cannot be adequately explained by your current science, but it is so.
Therefore we say to approach minerals with respect, discernment, an eye for quality.
Quality is paramount with gemstones. A stone that is dull, cracked, cloudy or otherwise flawed will transmit a distorted version of the desired energy, and lead to nothing but trouble.
Above all, trust your intuition which may pull you towards a stone for mysterious reasons, or tell you to steer clear.
A few words on minerals that may be supportive at this time.
First, ammonite, the spiral-shaped fossil of an ancient arthropod. By its nature ammonite is linked with the deep history of life on Earth. It is a touchstone for those who are called to deepen into this hidden knowledge. Ammonite supports step-by-step growth in the way that each chamber of the shell represents a literal stage of growth for the original creature whose home you now hold in your hand. Being of the animal kingdom and graced with harmonious form of the spiral, ammonite has a grounded quality that’s a useful counterbalance for some of the headier, higher-frequency crystals.
Quartz is fundamental due to its inherent characteristics (e.g. piezoelectricity). It should be a clear as possible, ideally gem-like or glassy. In a general sense quartz is used for amplification and direction of subtle signals: it’s like electronic music equipment that receives, amplifies, transmits. For those interested in plumbing the subtle realms, this is your piping.
For those moved to explore channeling practices (such as the collaboration that has led to what you are reading), crystals can be an invaluable catalyst. Trust what you are drawn to; obtain a small piece, and see what happens. As for what to “do” with a stone, in most cases simply possessing it and making physical contact with it is enough to welcome its influence into your life. They work through resonance, as opposed to linear causality.
As we approach the end of this transmission, we bid you hope. Not a naïve hope, for yours is a time of sturm und drang. Yet small acts of kindness, resilience, bravery and—above all—creative imagination are needed more than ever.
Serve when and as you are able. Tend your patch of ground; put a candle in your window. Sing your song, however reedy it may strike you against the howl outside.
We are with you.
Go in peace :: peace :: peace
