For context on this series, see the Preface to the Lavender Files. Today’s post begins the series in earnest with channeled material received via automatic writing.
Where my voice is interposed (e.g. in the Q&A section) it appears in italics. And with that, we’re off…!
Greetings to those currently incarnate. This is [unpronounceable symbol, similar to a crop circle pattern] of the [again unpronounceable].
Our scribe [Djed] is wondering how to refer to me. Any attempt to put my/our identity into words will inevitably sound like something from your science fiction literature. However, we understand the utility of linguistic tags and have agreed that you can refer to ‘me’ as Q’dox1 and my people as the Q’vareen.
It is my honor to pass along this message from our council regarding current conditions on your planet.
As many of you suspect, Earth is now at a critical juncture, a pivot within a pivot, such that the consequences of actions are multiplied.
Many of you are in confusion regarding how to respond to recent developments e.g. in the political sphere. Many are in despair. The simplest suggestion we can make is to find and act from your center. It is through your center that you connect to inner wisdom and guidance.
There is a need to distinguish between different types of feelings and emotions—always, but especially now.
First are those feelings that provide immediate info: fear signals danger, anger a need for rectification, while disgust reveals the presence of something toxic. These signals should be heeded. Honoring and acting upon them allows for movement to occur, both internally and externally. If not heeded, feelings become stuck and are apt to form a tangle with other stuck feelings, leading to confusion, overwhelm, despair, depression, etc.
If you are in one of these emotionally tangled states, it is important to carefully disentangle the various strands of feeling. If the knot is very tight or difficult, start by soaking it in compassion for self and other. This will help it to loosen. Then you’ll be better able to tease the individual feelings apart so they can be acknowledged individually and acted upon accordingly.
Humanity faces many challenges at this pivotal time, and learning to heed feeling signals and respond appropriately is among the most pressing. It is the basis for coherence at the individual level, harmony at the familial level, and so on, all the way up to peace at the national and global levels.
Emotional literacy and self-regulation are foundational, but these skills are currently uncommon amongst your population. Let those who have developed these skills share their knowledge in small group talks and classes under the banner of Emotional Resilience. For indeed, working with feelings, especially fear and anger, is the basis of resilience.
You’ll be wondering about the provenance of this message, with skepticism in many cases. This is natural. This question of our origins is a delicate matter, since we do not wish to cause alarm, on the one hand, nor to turn off those for whom full disclosure will seem far-fetched, on the other. But indeed we are far-fetched!
In truth we are but one group of many who are helping to bail the boat on Earth during this time of crisis—an apt word in your English language because it suggests a crossroads, a choice. We are making ourselves known now in order to help tip the scales toward a choice that is wholesome, shall we say. For the alternatives are bleak.
We do not wish to provoke fear. Most of you reading this already sense the weight of the times in which you live and have had to deal with much fear. So perhaps this is an appropriate time to discuss fear itself.
Imagine someone unexpectedly dumping a bucket of ice water over your head. Even before the anger and confusion (“WHY did you…?”) there is the visceral feeling of something shocking, something horribly wrong that demands immediate action: your brain is telling you that you must prepare to fight off those with buckets, flee to safety and dry clothes, or fawn in order to please and thereby disarm those who could again assault you. (In this scenario the “freeze” response is less likely, but as you know that is another common response to fear).
Consider the physiological level of response. With the shock of cold water, your brain signals your adrenal glands to release nor-epinephrine, a.k.a. adrenaline, to mobilize the body to fight, flee, or whatever. In effect this hormonal surge charges the body up for action. If flight or fight occurs, the charge is thereby used up. However, if for some reason no action is taken, the charge is not released. In this case it can only be slowly reabsorbed. Release is preferable from a physiologic point of view. Release wipes the slate clean and returns the body to neutral. Unreleased feelings tend to linger and can become chronic. This is common with fear, especially. When the perceived threat is diffuse or ongoing, fear accumulates like a drip-drip of ice water. Even though there may be no one single incident that caused the fear, it still needs to be released.
Step one: Ground. Feel the support of the earth and know that, in this moment, you are safe. Sink into that support. Regulate the breath: slower, deeper.
Step two: Acknowledge. Greet the fear, bringing it to full awareness as a distinct feeling.
Step Three: Release. This may occur by way of tears, verbal expression, shaking, teeth chattering, etc. It's normal to feel cold during this process—you are feeling fear’s cold, contractive energy as it moves out of your system.
For severe or stubborn cases, the flower essence of Quaking Aspen can be useful—simply take a few drops of this harmless tree preparation on the tongue to facilitate release of fear. You will feel better after release.
We have been speaking about fear, but analogous processes can help with release of anger, disgust, and other basic feelings.
What star system do you originate from?
Alixidus is the closest English equivalent. It is not a well-known star, being very distant from your sun. It is not in your Milky Way galaxy. To us, distance in space is no particular obstacle.
Are you an incarnate species?
Partially. Our consciousness is not limited to a body, but then, that is the nature of consciousness, to pervade. As some of you have realized, consciousness is not generated by matter (e.g. neurons in the brain) but is more fundamental, in a sense. Your religions are ahead of your science in this regard (although science is catching up).
For us, matter/bodies are helpful but non-essential. Our beingness could continue without them.
You must not fear annihilation, then.
Fear has not been part of our experience for many turnings as you know it. (A turning is a measure of galactic time. An eon, if you like.) We don’t fear, but we do have concerns, preferences. This is why we’ve elected to send a mission to Earth, because we would much rather see less suffering, more growth.
I have so many questions.
We have time2.
Well, let’s start with Earth’s role in the cosmic theater or community. Are there many different influences and interests acting on Earth from outside the planet / solar system?
Many. Not all benevolent, as you suspect. There are also those who profit from or feed off confusion and suffering, directly or indirectly. You are wondering why a race as advanced as ours doesn’t put a stop to this and the answer is we do act within the limits of our ethics. But we will not harm any form of life, not even to save another.
I suppose that is your privilege, not being susceptible to harm yourselves.
We are susceptible to harm, although not as vulnerable as some species. My people have lived through many changes and have not come to our current ethics lightly. Other groups may and indeed do have different settings regarding the type of intervention that’s permissible. However, you need not fear on account of alien influence. As a rule, the more advanced a species has become, the more ethical it is. Partly because it is ethics that allows for advancement, do you see? Thus the more powerful parties are also the more benevolent.
More benevolent, but less involved on Earth at this time? More hands off?
Rather, involved in subtler ways, like the current collaboration. Involved in making information available. Offering possibilities.

Pronounced “Keh-docks”
I (Djed) sensed a light irony or half-smile accompanying the phrase “we have time,” perhaps because the speaker’s orientation to time is so different from anything we’re used to. Q’dox may have found it amusing that we speak as if time is something we’re in possession of.
I know these, sounded like a word spelled with the Hebrew letters qoph, daleth, schin. Thank you for channeling. Curious to know the symbol that was seen.
