The Lavender Files, part 4
Dealing with envy. Symbol-speak. Deep history of the red planet. Terms and conditions for volunteers to Earth.
Onward to the next section of the Q’vareen transmission on emotional skills. Today’s section features a lengthier Q&A section in which we get into some fascinating terrain, I think you’ll agree.
If you missed earlier installments, start with the preface for context or jump in with part 1.
Onto envy-- we are working through the more difficult feelings, as you see.
Envy is green, colloquially. One is green with envy. Why is this? Green is the color of money, in your language. Also of bitter bile. And it is an unhealthy color when it comes to complexion. Envy is akin to an illness that has to do with resources. Yet the illness is not always with the individual. In an unjust society such as you have, some envy is justified from the have-nots toward the haves. This kind of envy is as a weapon, a gaze that demands a levelling. In some places this is known as the evil eye, a desirous gaze that acts interferingly, usually unconsciously. The recipient of such a gaze (or eye) experiences it as a disruption or, in severe cases, as a type of curse. These dynamics are quite real.
Returning to the feeling of envy, you should consider the power of this feeling and whether you wish to wield it in any given case. Do you want whatever it is badly enough to wish harm or loss to the one who has it? Be wary of wielding your envy, for doing so always comes at a cost. If upon reflection you prefer to release envy, this is generally a wise and life-affirming choice. We offer this practice.
Find an image of the Hamsa symbol (hand-shaped with an eye in the palm). Gaze upon it, and feel the gaze in return. Notice if there is an internal correction or adjustment that is called for. Allow yourself to be touched by the blessings it suggests. As you are able, give thanks for what you have already: count your blessings, as the saying goes.
In cases where inequity is part of the picture, such a practice will naturally not address the systemic causes, but it can be helpful in managing one’s inner emotional landscape.
On the topic of symbols more generally, the Hamsa is just one that is useful. There are too many to name, each with its specific potency, its medicine, if you will. We wish to cultivate in the Earth population a greater symbolic literacy along with emotional literacy we have been discussing.
What are other examples of beneficial symbols for us to be aware of?
The taiji symbol, commonly known as the yin-yang, is another example. It embodies and expresses the principle of polarity, how seeming opposites define one another and transform into one another. This symbol can serve as a reminder not to demonize the “other side,” for it is not separate from you.
For further examples, we point you to the crop circles—they can be considered a master class in symbology.
About karma. How does it work for a soul, or soul-stream, arriving on Earth for the first time? If one is arriving from a more evolved sphere such as yours, wouldn’t they come with a clean karmic slate?
Yes and no; for one, “good” karma as you call it is still karma and still bears fruit, only the type of fruit is sweet. For another, it has been found useful to “graft” what we can call Indigo or Violet souls onto existing terrestrial soul-stock. This combination offers more hardiness, in botanical terms. A result of such grafting is also a mingling of karma.
Volunteers are well-briefed on what they are signing up for and understand, at least in theory, that on their Earth mission they will become Earthlings, with all that that entails. Specifically, they will be subject to the influence of the planets of your solar system and the types of karma the planets cause to ripen: an example being Mars, who brings heat, wounds, aggression, competition and conflict.
This is fascinating. On other worlds, then, karma as we know it would not exist, because the planets as bringers of karma do not exist there—is that accurate?
The planets of your solar system color and shape the types of experiences souls will have here. This does not mean life on other worlds is free from karma; but the themes, patterns and coloration of those experiences will differ according to the presence of local planets and heavenly bodies: each world has its own relation to the cosmos, its own worldview in a literal sense. So it is accurate to say that karma as you know it would not exist elsewhere, but only because you do not know it. Karma itself is a feature of embodied life, and extends to disembodied life as well, though with less stickiness.
Circling back to Mars: was the Red Planet the site of an interplanetary war at one point? This is something my 8-year old nephew has said. From a young age, he would make casual mention of past life memories on Mars, and he told us later that life on Mars was extinguished in a war.
That is correct. It was so long ago that practically nothing remains in collective memory, save only the mythological association between the red planet and violent conflict. Truly to tell this history would require in a book in itself. For these purposes we will say this:
[silence]
[silence]
[silence]
A tiny tribute to the most horrific destruction your solar system has known[1].
Are there traces to be found on Mars of this conflict or whatever civilization used to exist there?
Traces only, for the destruction was total and the timespan almost (to you) unimaginably distant. Yet for all that, there are those (like your nephew) who have connections to that place and time. For the soul, there is no time.
Back to this matter of grafting of souls. I have this picture of different races like in Tolkien: Elves who are more ethereal, of the stars, keepers of ancient lore, and then humans who are grittier and closer to their animal selves, lusty and greedy but also tough and capable of great bravery. And then you get the occasional cross-breed, a half elf with characteristics of both. Is the grafting you speak of kind of like this?
Very much so. Volunteers without sufficient native Earth stock in their make-up have had difficulty adjusting to local conditions. Hybridization has proven necessary.
This raises questions about the origins of terrestrial life. How long have extraterrestrial beings been involved in Earth’s biosphere?
For much longer than your history would suggest is possible. Your history, as written, is like the skin of an apple. The involvement of non-Earth peoples goes right to the core.
A great deal of knowledge has been suppressed regarding human origins and the previous epochs of human history. What you know as history is but the history of the current age of the world.
How many previous ages have there been?
It depends how you choose to divide them. Let us say, roughly, six.
The previous age ended very distinctly with the cataclysm that destroyed Atlantis and changed the face of the Earth through volcanic and seismic activity and large-scale flooding. About those times you have no records, but surviving legends convey bits and pieces, as do past life regressions, occasional dream images, and so on. Of still earlier ages there is very little trace except in your DNA and the deepest layers of the psyche.
What would you tell those who wish to understand more of the history of prior ages?
The topic is massive, stories within stories within stories. Yet shreds and strands of it have made themselves known in essence, often through works of fiction. You mentioned Tolkien, and he was one who channeled much of interest to those who seek this knowledge. One must read with an ear for resonance and not get hung up on details. We do not say, for example, that there were swords that glowed blue. But Tolkien’s telling of the fall of Numenor[2] captures some of the truth of Atlantis, and how a faithful few survived the wrath of the gods to carry remnants of wisdom into a new epoch.
We wish to point out that having a true heart is the best protection against cataclysmic events, for at such times only the favor of the gods can save one. Luck, in this sense, is a thing earned.
In connection Tolkien’s elven races, understand that there were other beings both like and unlike you who shared this earth and who have since departed. As with the elves, they were an exalted race, tall and proud. They had much skill and wisdom, and when it went bad, it went very bad. They have long since left the Earth, but their legacy in places endures. Some of you have a connection or affinity with these first children, these people of the stars.
How do we know if we have such an affinity?
Clear, bright eyes are a clue--starry eyes. Generally tall stature, and a certain nobility. It is worth mentioning in this context that the human concept of royalty is based on the notion of connection with higher realms and beings. The crown symbolizes leadership because the leader was one who attuned to something beyond. The crown is like an antenna.
These star people—are there genetic links to modern-day humans?
The human genome contains many secrets. It is at once archaeological site and living laboratory. Experiments both failed and successful continue to influence who you are at a genetic level. The star people were not your direct ancestors but were as godparents to humans, and they made their mark.
Can they be reached, contacted?
Not in a manner that will satisfy many who seek, for the distances in time and space are significant. Yet those who patiently attune to the subtle may glean the knowledge of them and perhaps pick up on messages they left behind—easter eggs, if you like. For they had opportunity to prepare for their exodus and understood who their successors on this planet would be. As a departing parent or uncle leaves a child too young to understand a letter to be read when she is older, or a puzzle to be solved.
How long ago did they depart?
Two different timelines are at play. There was the end of the last age, the cataclysm that rended Atlantis and flooded the earth. Much of the star people’s legacy was destroyed during that time. But they themselves had already long departed.
Understand that there have been other humanoid species on Earth, including the “giants” whose bones have been discovered in Sardinia and elsewhere—these come down to you mainly in legend.
Speaking of Sardinia and ancient remains, what about ancient sites such as Stonehenge and Gobekli Tepe—how do they fit into things…?
A rich topic that we’ll save for a sequel.
I wish to understand more about our hidden origins, but I hardly know what questions to ask.
Let your desire to seek understanding lead you, for it will. For now, on this subject we have said enough.
[1] Shortly after transcribing this and growing more interested in the topic of Mars’ history, I learned that there is evidence of nuclear residue on Mars in the form of elevated levels of Xenon 129, an isotope that is create in large quantities in fission reactions. Many including former NASA scientist JE Brandenburg believe a massive nuclear blast destroyed the Martian biosphere, which had likely contained liquid water and a viable atmosphere, roughly 300 million years ago.
